Terms & Conditions

At Atlantic Ocean Safaris, we are committed to delivering safe, professional, and unforgettable marine wildlife experiences in a true wilderness environment. By confirming a booking, guests agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Bookings & Payments

All safari departures require full prepayment in advance to secure your reservation. A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received in full.

2. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled departure time are 100% payable and non-refundable.
• Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to departure may be accepted at no cost, subject to written confirmation from management.

3. Weather & Sea Conditions

Ocean safaris are highly dependent on weather and sea conditions, which are the key factors for both safety and success. We will advise guests regarding expected conditions on their booked dates and, where necessary, may offer alternative dates or suitable options whenever possible.

4. Skipper’s Authority & Safety

The appointed skipper has full responsibility and final authority regarding all safety decisions. This includes the right to:
• Cancel a trip prior to departure
• Delay departure
• Return to harbour early
• Modify the route or duration of the safari

These decisions are made solely in the interest of passenger safety, crew safety, and vessel protection.

5. Once the Boat Has Launched

Once the vessel has launched and the safari has commenced, all fees are fully payable and no refunds apply, regardless of trip duration, sightings, route adjustments, or early return due to safety or changing conditions.

6. Wildlife Sightings Disclaimer

We operate in a true wild marine environment. While our long-term success rate is above 90%, wildlife movements are natural and unpredictable. Therefore, we cannot guarantee sightings of whales, dolphins, or any specific marine species on any departure.

7. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in any safari confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

We thank you for your understanding and look forward to welcoming you and/or your guests aboard for an authentic Atlantic Ocean Safari experience.
